Accepted artists must provide for incoming shipping and insurance to the Museum. Works must be shipped by common carrier (FedEx, UPS, USPS) or hand-delivered. Crated or boxed works must conform to standard carrier length and girth requirements. No oversized / freight shipments will be accepted. MoFA will provide insured, return shipping via common carrier up to a maximum of $5,000. Works will be returned packed in the same materials and manner in which they are received (the use of packing peanuts is discouraged). Therefore, crates, boxes and other shipping containers must be strong enough for the return trip. Artists who choose to hand-deliver their work to the Museum must also pick up their work the week immediately following the close of the exhibition. MoFA will not reimburse travel. Delivery and pick up hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 to 5:00 pm.
